Sexy long blonde hair? Check. Big smokey eyes? Check. French actress? Yes. Animal rights activist? That too! Fashion model? You bet. Singer? Of course. Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot was born on 28th September 1934 and was a sensation during the 1950s and 60s, becoming a huge style icon in France and all over the world.

She started her acting career in 1952 and after appearing in 16 films became world-famous due to her role in the controversial film And God Created Woman. During her career in show business, Bardot starred in 48 films, performed in numerous musical shows, and recorded 80 songs. AND, between all that, she still had the time to make Saint-Tropez the renowned chic place it is today.

Young, seductive and carefree – BB dressed with a perfect blend of French chic, class and sex appeal - pulling off the bee hive hair, the knee high boots, the short skirts and the headbands.
All at the same time.

"A photograph can be an instant of life captured for eternity that will never cease looking back at you."
