We're in October already, and even though it isn't exactly cold, I got to admit I'm craving for that chilly sweater weather.... Cause nothing beats your favorite cozy sweater once the temperature starts to dip.

This Fall, our go-to sweater for the colder, lazier days got a fun upgarde. Think mohair, angora, cashmere or anything textured and fluffy, but in more tailored forms. If you want to make a statement but graphics and embelishments aren't you cup of tea, fuzzy sweaters are the way to go!

They're very versatile too... Pair a cropped version with a high waisted skirt, wear an oversized sweater with some leather pants or try a cardigan version with your favorite skinny jeans. Are you in?

Seems like Autumn is back for good. Today is gonna be one of those rainy afternoons spent on the sofa, with a blanket, apple and cinammon tea and some episodes of Walking Dead, Suits and The Paradise. Cozy and lazy day. Hello there!! Estas fotografias foram tiradas no Parque dos Poetas, mesmo ao pé de minha casa. Sou uma sortuda por viver tão perto de um jardim destes mas tenho a plena noção de que não o aproveito como devia. É perfeito para fazer jogging, passear, fazer um piquenique ou simplesmente relaxar e apanhar algum sol mas eu quase nunca me lembro de fazer nenhuma destas coisas ahah. Estou a usar uma saia skater enviada pela Romwe, que eu mal podia esperar que chegasse... Infelizmente fica-me um bocadinho grande mas nada que uma costureira não consiga arranjar. Já andava há procura de uma saia destas há séculos! 

O dia de hoje foi bastante preenchido, entre ginásio, arrumar o quarto e amigos. Mas amanhã não me escapa um diazinho de praia!! Já tenho saudades... Então e vocês, já começaram as aulas ou ainda vos resta mais um bocadinho de verão?

Hello there! These photos were taken in Parque dos Poetas, near my place. I'm really lucky for having such an awesome garden just a few steps away from home but I have full notion that I don't enjoy it nearly as much as I should. It's perfect for jogging, strolling around, having a picnic or simply relax and soak up the sun but I never really remember to do any of these things haha. I'm wearing a skater skirt sent by Romwe, which I could barely wait to receive... Sadly it's kind of big on me but nothing a seamstress can't easily fix, and I was looking for a skirt like this for ages!

Today was quite a busy day, between the gym, organizing my room and some catching up with some friends. But tomorrow it's beach day, no matter what! I miss it already... What about you? Have your classes started yet or is there a bit of summer still left for you to enjoy?

Recomeçando o estudo intensivo. O fim-de-semana fora não podia ter sabido melhor mas a época de finalistas chama por mim... Restarting the intensive study. The weekend abroad couldn't have been better but the finalist exams season is calling me... How awesome would it be if my exam were about the touristy part of Barcelona? I would nail that for sure!

Antes Muerta Que Sencilla

Barcelona - day 3.

Para o último dia em Barcelona ficaram reservadas as Ramblas, Barceloneta e a zona da Marina. Um dia abafado mas não especialmente quente contribuiu para que não fosse tão difícil fazer todo esse percurso a pé e sentia-se uma brisa que sabia bem. 

Ultimamente tenho gravitado bastante para tudo o que seja All Black - o meu lema tem sido o famoso 'Less is More' - e este dia não foi excepção. Um top largo da Lefties com os meus skorts da Oysho foram a combinação perfeita para um look clean, simples e fluído. Como o dia estava mais fresquinho, acabei por levar esta camisa (que tinha comprado no dia anterior na Forever 21 - upsss) e desta vez sim, até cheguei a andar com ela vestida (wow Maria, way to go!!!). Adoro ver este género de camisas, super leves e esvoaçantes, a ser usadas abertas como se fossem 'casacos'. Ajudam a proteger das mudanças de temperatura do meses de meia-estação e ainda dão um toque especial a um look mais simples ou monocromático. 

For the last day in Barcelona we chose to see Las Ramblas, Barceloneta and the Marina area. A sultry but not especially warm day contributed to not being so hard to do all this walking around and there was even a breeze going on, which felt pretty good.

Lately I've been gravitating towards everything all black - my life motto has been 'Less is More' - and this day was no exception. A loose top from Lefties and my skorts from Oysho made the perfect combination for a clean, simple and fluid look. As the day started kind of chilly, I ended up taking this shirt with me (which I had bought the day before at Forever 21 - upsss) and this time yes, I even got to wear it outside (wow Maria, way to go!). I love seeing this kind of shirts, super lightweight and flowy, being used unbuttoned as if they were 'coats'. They protect your body from the temperature changes of the mid-season months without being too 'wintery' and give a special touch to a simple or monochromatic look.

Barcelona - day 2.

A manhã foi passada no Parc Güell, um dos mais impressionantes parques públicos do mundo. Fruto do trabalho do arquitecto Antonio Gaudí, de 1900 a 1914, era suposto ser um parque residencial para 60 casas encomendado pelo conde Eusebi Guell mas nunca foi acabado. Além de repleto de jardins verdes, palmeiras, arquitectura modernista e muita música, o Parc Güell tem ainda uma vista fantástica sobre a cidade de Barcelona. Para combater o calor húmido que se faz sentir naquela cidade catalã, optei por usar os famosos skorts da Zara (sim, eu sei que toda a gente tem mas eu continuo a adora-los e não me consigo fartar deles), um top preto com detalhes dourados (também ele da Zara) e os meus fieis Converse brancos. Não sei muito bem porque é que senti a necessidade de levar um casaco (mais especificamente um flowy blazer da Primark) que passou obviamente o dia atado à volta da minha cintura e acabou por dar um ar mais descontraído a um look que poderia ser demasiado 'put together'.

My morning was spent at Parc Güell, one of the most impressive public parks of the world. Designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí, from 1900 to 1914, this was supposed to be a residencial park for sixty family homes, ordered by the count Eusebi Guell but was never finished. Besides being filled with green gardens, palm trees, modernist works and lots of music, Parc Güell has a fantastic view over the city of Barcelona.

To fight the scorching hot and humid weather of the catalan city, I chose to wear the famous Zara skorts (yeah, I knoe every girl and the other have them but I still love and can't get enought of them), a black top with golden details (Zara as well) e my loyal white Converse. I don't really know why I felt the need to take a coat with me (more like a striped flowy blazer from Primark) which obviously was wrapped around my waist the whole damn day but it ended up giving a 'I don't give a ****' to a look that could have been excessively put together.

Barcelona - Day 1. 

Este fim-de-semana foi passado em Espanha. Fui a Barcelona com os meus pais visitar o meu irmão, que passou lá o Verão a estagiar. E não há palavras, adoro aquela cidade!! Já lá tinha ido antes mas não me consigo fartar... Por mim voltava já amanhã, há sempre qualquer coisa para ver, qualquer coisa para fazer. Se tudo correr bem, será também o cenário da próxima fase da minha vida. Quero mudar-me para lá durante o próximo ano para tirar um mestrado em Marketing e Comunicação de Moda e aproveitei esta viagem para visitar duas das faculdades que estão em hipótese. 

Para a viagem de avião e primeiro dia de passeio, escolhi um conjunto simples, prático e casual com alguns apontamentos dourados. E claro que a camisa não podia faltar à volta da minha cintura ahah! Obsessed much?

This weekend was spent in Spain. I travelled to Barcelona with my parents to visit my brother, who spent the summer there doing an internship. And there are no words, I'm in love with that city!! I've been there before but it never gets old... I'd come back tomorrow if I could, there's always something new to see, something cool to do. If all goes well, it will also be the scenery to the next stage of my life. I want to move there next year to do a masters in Fashion Marketing and Communication, so I used this trip to visit two of the universities of choice. 

For the plane trip and first day of walking around, I chose a simple, practical and casual outfit with some golden details. And of course there's a shirt wrapped around my waist haha! Obsessed much?
